N.B. All associated theoretical knowledge ground exams must have been passed before a Skill Test can be undertaken.

JAR Modular Commercial and PPL Instrument Rating. Multi and single engine.

Course - for Single engine I.R. 50 hours (C.P.L. skill test passed)
Course - for Multi engine I.R. 55 hours (Full approved course)

Course Aircraft - B.E.76 Duchess/ PA28R Arrow 1V

N.B. An applicant for an I.R. (A) shall hold a PPL (A) or CPL (A) including a night
qualification, and shall have completed at least 50 hours cross country flight time as PIC in aeroplanes or helicopters, of which at least 10 must be in aeroplanes.

For the Multi I.R. - If a Multi Rating has not already been obtained, training for this rating will be undertaken before commencement of the BE76 phase of the I.R. course.
